Bad blogger returns with the events of the summer!

As some of you might know I have been the worst blogger this summer. My excuse, I have been busy sewing, which is a good thing. With the summer lineup of show I have done and am still doing it has just been kaotic staying caught up. So Here are some pictures to show what my family and I have done over the summer other than me sewing.

To start out the summer we headed to Tennessee, the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area to see Nana. We had lots of fun! It is amazing to see the beauty in the mountains that God created!

The kids enjoyed Trout fishing.

We went to the aquarium, I always love to see the jellyfish, they are so amazing!

We stopped and saw the Duke's of Hazzard Car, the General Lee

We climbed all the way to the top of Clingman's dome, one of the highest points of the Smokey Mountains.

Tyler found time to catch a Comelian.

We spent some time out at Holland State Park.

Tyler celebrated his 7th birthday on July 2

We made 2 trips to Traverse City with the family it was nice having them there while I participated in the Art and Craft shows. One of the trips was during Cherry festival, while I worked at my booth they enjoyed the air show, concessions, and the beach.

There were times during the Cherry festival when our booth was so full of shoppers that you could not move.

By the end of th day, Brayden crashed on Bryan he was so tired

Some other fun pictures from home

AWARD WINNING BOOTH AT TULIP TIME FESTIVAL

This past weekend I was at the Tulip Time Festival Art and Craft show in Holland Michigan selling my bags along with Karin from K Bella Bambino Designs and we received an award for the best booth. This was quite an accomplishment for us both since there were over 200 booths present at the festival. It is almost the 1 year aniversary for Karin and I to be working side by side in our booth so to receive this award was fun and exciting. We have been through quiet a few different setups to try and make our booth perfect, maybe we finally accomplished that.
My Family also got a chance to come and see me and the beautiful Tulips. Don't forget to catch up with us at our next show at Ada Arts in Ada Michigan.

The New Kennedy Collection

This is my newest collection that I designed for an upcoming contest. As you can see I am calling it the Kennedy Collection. I need your help in deciding which shot best shows off the bag as I am only allowed to upload one photo for the contest. The pictures that have a double or triple shot only count for one picture. Please vote above for your favorite. The judges are based out of New York, so think New York when you vote for your favorite. I appreciate your help. The Green and Pink Kennedy is made of 100% ultrasuede and the purple and green one is done in vinyl. This collection will be available most likely starting in May. A special thank you to Beca Essing for taking the photos. This is her link if any of you are interested, she does great work. http://www.memoriesbybeca.com/

First Warm Day of Spring

Today was the nicest day we have had yet this year. I don't know the exact temp, but I would have to say it is near 6o degrees with sun. As you can see my boys were enjoying the nice weather by playing baseball. My youngest though is not quite ready to give up his winter gear yet. He insisted on wearing his beanie and winter boots out, but he thought it was warm enough to go without a coat. I never can quite figure him out!
